This Album is so so good. My favourite electronic music release 2009 so far.
A hugely recommended piece of music.

A masterpiece of serenely melancholy and sublime deep house crafted with the skill and dedication of someone who you can truly believe lived this music at that time.
Tinkling pianos that seem to be submerged in water, airy flutes and a number of monologues dot the record. The most notable of the latter occurs on the first track of the record in which a voice tells us "There must be a hundred records with voiceovers asking 'what is house?' The answer is always some greeting card bullshit about life, love, happiness." ...

This is the rhythm of empty midtown dancefloors resonating with the difficulties of transgendered sex work, black market hormones, drug & alcohol addiction, racism, gender & sexual crises, unemployment, and censorship.

Lost In Music Radio Show, Thursday 22.01.09

This week our Lost In Music Radio Show guests Pete Herbert and David Wolstencroft aka Trus'me play dj mixes that match their idea of underground dance music. Both artists like their music with a disco twist. Pete is in the business for quite some time - he used to run the legendary Atlas Record store in Soho/London and David aka Trus'me appeared out of nowhere two years ago with his mysterious 12"es and the great Working Nights album soon afterwards. David is playing a lot of unreleased stuff from his Prime Numbers Label and his Mancunian Friend Linkwood (of Firecracker Records fame - i'm sure some of you remember the limited 10" series with beautiful 60ies Comic Covers).
