No history of the electronic music scene would be complete without mentioning the name of Reade Truth, one that evokes both futuristic anticipation and nostalgic reflection. Reade Truth is best identified as a veteran DJ of the New York scene whose deep dance floor visions have consistently provided an important source of edgy electronics always delivered with an inimitable style all his own.
His DJ roots branch forward from the alternative-industrial scene that flourished in New York City at the end of the 80's. He has held residencies at famous clubs like
Limelight, The Building and Pyramid and appeared at countless warehouse parties and raves all over the u.s. during the 90's.
His recording career started on the cult label Direct Drive and includes releases on Instinct and Strictly Rhythm soon he will have new releases available on Pomelo and Chinatown and Carl Craigs Planet E.
